Beavercreek Storage Depot is dedicated to providing you with the best customer service. Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions renting a self storage unit but if you don't find the answers you are looking for don't hesitate to give us a call!

What do I need to provide in order to rent a storage unit?
To rent a unit you will need:
-A driver's license
-Your first month's payment
-A lock to secure your unit. If you don't have one, we have locks available for purchase.

How long is the lease term?
We always rent our storage units month to month, so you're not locked in to anything longer than you need. You can stay as long as you need to!

Do you require a deposit?
No. We do not a require a deposit to rent a storage unit.

When can I access my storage unit?
Tenants have access to their storage units 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!  Each tenant is assigned their own personal gate code that allows them access through our gate whenever it is convenient for them.

What are climate controlled storage units?
Two of our buildings are temperature controlled to protect contents that can be effected by changes in temperature from extreme weather conditions. They are kept at a steady temperature year round.

Can I store a RV/Camper/Car/Boat?
We do have storage units large enough to store some vehicles but we do not have any outside parking space available for storing larger vehicles.

Will my belongings be safe?
Our state-of-the-art facility is fenced and well lit. We have electronic gate access and 24 hour video surveillance. You put your own lock on your unit and you keep the key.

What items are not allowed in the storage unit?
Storing any hazardous waste materials, explosives, flammable liquids, contraband or other goods prohibited by law. 

Do you provide insurance?
Beavercreek Storage Depot highly recommends that all of our customers carry tenant insurance. As a tenant, you are responsible for all items that you store with us. We highly recommend that you purchase insurance to protect your belongings.  Click here for more information.  

How much notice is required before moving out?
We require 10 days notice prior to moving out. Complete details will be included in your contract.

Do you prorate rent when I move out?
Rent is not prorated or refunded upon move out.  Tenants must vacate the unit no later than the last day of the month in order to avoid being charged for the next month.

How can I make a payment?
We have several options available for your convenience.  We accept cash, checks and credit cards (MasterCard, Visa and Discover).  You can make a payment by mail, in person, by phone or online.  You can also arrange to have your payments automatically deducted from your credit card each month so you don't have to worry about it!

What if I am late making a payment?
All payments are due on the 1st of each month.  If payment is not received by the fifth of the month, a late fee of $20 is added to your account.  To avoid the possibility of late fees, we recommend customers have their rent automatically withdrawn from their bank account or credit card each month.

Do you have a referral program?
Yes we do! When you refer a friend or colleague to facility and they rent a storage unit from us, you will receive $25 off your next months rent. Plus your friend will receive $25 off their first months rent too! Call our office for more details.
